The old part of Zakho. One can see the old jail "Qishla" from Ottoman Empire times, to the right of the picture. It is considered as a heritage building which is housing the broadcasting network. Zakho has radio and TV stations. There is also, a classical music radio station, but, I am not sure if it is from Zakho or Dohuk, which is another city, forty five minutes by car south of Zakho.
