Window in Old Bronte

I created this blog to post photos, creative processes, thoughts about art, life and the in-between. This first posting is about a little known place outside of Oakville. It is an old heritage place of a small fishing village of yore years in Bronte Harbour on Lake Ontario. This photo of a window is in one of the houses slated for demolition to make way for a multi-appartment building. The Bronte Historical Society fought a long battle with the developer to save the entire quadrangle of houses and an original hotel from demolition. The hotel has been saved, but, the rest of the houses and Lakeside Marketeria (owned and run by the gentle and loving late Bill Hill) will be demolished.
